Your pet needn’t have any training or understand any commands. At Lux Summit Studio we discover what you love most about your pets and create a space (within our North Wales studio, your home or any other location) in which they can feel comfortable, show up as their full, authentic selves and be celebrated for everything that makes them so special to you. Whether dog photography, cat photos, equine photography, bunny photo sessions or any other animal that has made an impact on your life; Kristen will help you honor and immortalize the indelible mark they’ve made in your life in a way that is authentic to your bond and connection.
You SHOULD be in the photos with your pets and here’s why. The things you love most about your pets are most directly related to the bond you share. That look in their eyes, the way they wag their tail, their unconditional love, their snuggles are all parts of their direct connection to you. Those parts of their personality show up when they’re with you. Ten or 15 years from now, as you appreciate the art you created from your photo session experience, you’ll be amazed at how palpable your love will feel.
Every custom and premium photo session includes a style consult in which Kristen from Lux Summit Studio helps you plan every detail of your photo session experience including what to bring, what to wear, what art you may like to create with the imagery from your session and other considerations.
Kristen at Lux Summit Studio specializes in photographing both pets and humans with special needs. Through the initial discovery call she will make an assessment of each family member’s needs (including non-human family members) and create solutions to meet each of those individuals where they’re at and create a space of comfort and safety for them to shine in front of the camera. In the decade that Kristen has been photographing both human and creature, she has not yet had an animal she could not work with. Kristen’s background as a social worker creates the passion behind the inclusivity and compassion of her photography practice. She has literally created the curriculum to teach photographers to ethically, empathetically and safely photograph pets.

Don’t worry! You do not need to match and you certainly do not want to dress in a way that doesn’t represent the real you. The name of the game is intention, cohesion and dressing how you feel most confident and comfortable. The good news is that every custom and premium session includes a style consult in which your photographer, Kristen, from Lux Summit Studio will guide you through exactly what outfits will achieve the look and style that you want for your photo session.
Lux Summit Studio offers photo session options for every location imaginable. We offer a full service photography studio in North Wales, Pennsylvania, right in the suburbs of Philadelphia. Kristen also offers stress free solutions for photographing at home. Whether your home is in the suburbs in Montgomery County, Bucks County, Chester County or Delaware County, Kristen will come to you. Even beyond the Greater Philadelphia area, Lux Summit Studio offers destination photo sessions to create your dream photographic experience. Kristen has photographed from the UK to Hawaii, from Boulder Colorado to Charleston South Carolina and from Cabo to New York City.

The answer is always, “Right now.”. The truth is, that in 25 years, when you look back on these images and art, when your kids look back, when your grand kids discover these photographs, no one will care about the time of day or time of year.
