For the better part of a year I’ve been talking about senior dogs – how they teach us to live our best lives, show up for us and model resilience and perseverance. I’m not finished singing their praises yet. Now, we’re creating a space to reflect on the attitude of gratitude we can cultivate from watching our senior furry family members.

November is senior dog month and we’re kicking it off with a very special project benefiting Happy Tails Rescue Retirement Home. We’re creating a gratitude journal filled with affirmations, quotes, journal prompts and, what else? Sprinkling in the distinguished mugs and adorable snoots of your senior doggos throughout the pages of the Grateful Like A Dog journal, we’re celebrating the power of the effect their grateful nature nurtures our own spirits. We’re currently accepting submissions from humans that love their grey muzzled pack members. Only 12 dogs and their humans will be selected for feature.

Secondly, you can feel amazing knowing the profits from the sales of this gratitude journal go to senior dog rescue. She and her husband David, along with their two rescue dogs Hudson and Nito, call Lansdale home in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.
